Today was a great day, not only on the writing front, but also the publicity for the local area. Three of us from the Riverland Creative Writing Group had some photos taken at the local Country Arts Centre, plus were interviewed for an article in the Riverland Weekly. The Weekly is a free newspaper published once a week on Thursday. It should help raise awareness of the group and NaNoWriMo in general.
On the writing front, done another 1723 words and killed off 14 characters in bloody and graphic ways. It made the word count easier. Now the story can really get a move on, moving the characters along the road to their next challenge. Total word count now stands at 11,897 words.
